Wedi gadael y coleg, treuliodd flwyddyn yn cyfansoddi cerddoriaeth i animieddiad dan nawdd y MGCADT. Cyflogwyd ef gan y cyhoeddwyr Wright & Round Ltd, lle bu’n gweithio gyda chyfansoddwyr ffilm blaenllaw. Daeth i fod yn un o’u trefnwyr cerddorfaol mwyaf llwyddiannus ar gyfer ffilm.

Ers hynny, cyfansoddodd Leigh gerddoriaeth ar gyfer amrywiaeth fawr o gynyrchiadu ffilm, DVD a sioeau theatr. Yn fwyaf diweddar, bu’n adlunio ac yn ail-sgorio cerddoriaeth ffilm Bryan Singer: 'Public  Access' i John Ottman, cyfansoddwr 'Superman Returns', ac yn gweithio gyda'r ennillydd Grammy Joe Harnell i greu dilyniant o gerddoriaeth i 
gorws a cherddorfa o sgôr y cyfansoddwr hwnnw i sioe sci-fi Warner Bros, 'V'.

Rfoddwyd enw Leigh ar y rhestr fer yn ddiweddar ar gyfer un o’r 'Jerry Goldsmith Best Achievement in Audio Visual Music (Free Creation) Awards' yn yr Ubeda International Film Music Festival. ‘Rhain yw’r gwobrau cyntaf i’w cyflwyno er cof am y cyfansoddwr ffilm Jerry Goldsmith (The Omen, StarTrek) fu farw ym 2006. 

Yn ogystal â chyfansoddi a threfnu cerddorfoal, mae Leigh yn darlithio mewn cerddoriaeth mewn coleg yn ardal Abertawe.
